Sustainable Berea is a group of Bereans who organized to create a more sustainable environment for Coe Lake. They spearheaded efforts that promote biodiversity by planting a diverse group of trees. Projects include working with with the city of Berea to require organic confetti and restrict the use of plastic balloons.
This group organizes clean-up projects for the park around Coe Lake the most recent was this year on Earth Day. If you would like to learn more or participate in these clean-up efforts, you can contact them at:
