Election day is here!
We promised we would keep you updated. It’s 37 degrees out and 6:30 am the candidates and their supporters are out at the polling stations working to talk to constituents and make their closing arguments for their campaign.
Whether you agree with the candidate or not, you have to give them credit for braving the cold and standing out in front of the polling stations for hours on end to talk and listen to voters coming to cast their vote.
The candidates represented at Berea’s polling stating this morning are Erika Coble, Kim Smith, Daune Jaynes, Gene Zacharyasz, and Steve Dockman. Family members and supporters have also come out to help support these candidates.
Please take some time and thank the candidates and supporters who are putting in the effort to show up. It’s hard work and a long day. You don’t have to agree with them or vote for them to respect the hard work they are putting in.
It’s late in the afternoon and candidates Erika Coble and Daune Jaynes are still going strong. Turnout has been steady and wait times have been minimal. There is still time to make it to the polls to vote! Polls close at 7:30- make sure your voice is heard and cast your vote!
