A local group, known as Sustainable Berea, put together the articles for our sustainability edition. When they are not writing articles, Sustainable Berea provides practical ways to foster sustainability in our community.
This group is known for the clean-up at Coe Lake. In addition, they run an informational booth at local events throughout the year. But that’s not all they do. They help sponsor programs like the new composting program in Berea.
Moreover, they wrote 10 articles for our newspaper. Consequently, writing articles is not easy. It takes time, research, and creativity to put on paper practical solutions to help our environment. Yet they took this challenge in addition to all the other projects they do.
As the editor of the Berea News, I would like to thank Sustainable Berea for all the hard work they put in to make this edition possible. The articles they produce are practical, timely, and enjoyable to read.
Please take some time and read these articles written by leaders in our community.
Additionally, if you would like to become a part of Sustainable Berea, you can email them at: [email protected]
