There is no single reason I am running for office; however, the driving force was my deep desire to have a positive impact on the individuals that come before the court and to improve the legal system.  I feel it is important to serve the community by safeguarding the integrity of our judicial system and I want to leverage my 24 years of experience as an attorney by fostering fairness and equity for all court attendees all while keeping our communities safe.  To ensure ensure safety of our communities, access to mental health and substance abuse services must be improved.  Further individuals appearing before the court should be receive education about the available resources and be equipped with the necessary tools for success to reduce the likelihood of repeat offenses.
