My wife, Laura, and I were born and raised in Strongsville. After graduating law school, we moved back to Strongsville and now raise our three children here.
I currently work at the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Criminal Division’s Major Trial Unit. Currently I primarily prosecute Homicide offenses.
Prior to being in the Major Trial Unit, I worked in the General Felony Unit, where I prosecuted cases ranging from Aggravated Robberies to low-level Theft Offenses.
I have been involved in criminal litigation since the time I left law school. Most of my career has been spent as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. I have worked with countless victims, attorneys, judges, police officers, bailiffs, and sheriff’s deputies. I have seen and worked with Defendants who end up in the criminal justice system for a myriad of reasons. In my career, I have taken seriously the role of a Prosecuting Attorney: to seek justice.
I also understand many people end up in the criminal justice system because of struggles with mental health and drug abuse.
I envision that Berea Municipal Court will have a positive influence in the communities it serves. I will review each case with individualized attention. I will run the Court in an efficient manner to protect taxpayer dollars. Most importantly, I will be fair and impartial to all litigants who come before the Court.
I am an active member of the Strongsville Rotary Club and a part of Strongsville Kiwanis.
