In an effort to protect the citizens of Berea from the evils that lurk deep in the heart of the city, Mayor Kleem places an urgent Facebook post. He writes about three Berea moms with “troubling ideas.” These moms must be dangerous. Whatever it is, it must be bad. The mayor will tell us more at a later time. Until then we must be careful not to be seduced by “Berea’s Most Dangerous Moms”.

DAUNE JAYNES
First, we have, Daune Jaynes. Daune had the audacity to… wait for it… and now might be a good time to shield any young eyes from the following, horrific text:
SHE ASKED A QUESTION AT A CITY COUNCIL MEETING!
Yes, really. How horrible! Well, to be fair, she didn’t ask just any question. The question embarrassed the mayor and changed a vote by the city council. Okay- the background: The city-owned this piece of property and the mayor wants to sell it to some developer. So, the mayor tells city council to declare this an emergency so they can get this thing sold. City council is like Okay- until this Daune lady steps in. Daune was like, “why were they using an emergency procedure for this?” What was the rush? “Was it because they still owed over $600,000 and selling it for $300,000?” Anyone else interested in this property that would pay more?
Can you believe the nerve of this lady! Daune questioned the mayor about how he uses her tax dollars! Daune messed everything up. The city council was now like- this lady has a point. We no longer have a happy mayor.
These actions by Daune are very troubling.
MARY BROWN
Public enemy number two is none other than Mary Brown. Yes, you may have heard of her. Mary committed the crime of the decade. A few years back, Mary ran for MAYOR OF BEREA! WOW! I MEAN WOW! Lock your doors and run for the hills! Everyone knows only Cyril Kleem can be mayor. He is the ‘one’ who shall not be challenged. To make matters worse, this Mary organized a committed group of people who demanded good government and accountability of elected officials! Oh, the humanity! Yes, mayor, I’d be upset too. She is sooo on the naughty list.
ERIKA COBLE
Lastly, and most disturbing is, Erika Coble. Erika is a…. “Community Organizer”. O…M…G… She talks to the community and keeps them informed! This must be stopped at all costs. In fact, to the mayor’s dismay, Erika organized a group of concerned citizens to foil a development plan of the mayor! Yes, this happened. HERE IN B E R E A!
What was the mayor’s Wonderful Plan?
The mayor and this lady named Kim Smith were working with Omni Corp. (Let’s just stop there. Who names their company “Omni Corp”? Really? That’s the perfect name for an evil, deceitful, ominous villain. You’re honestly using that name for your company? Okaaay. Whatever.) Well, Omni Corp with the help of the mayor and Kim Smith, was to build a massive 5-story assistant care facility taking up an entire city block on the shores of Coe Lake.
Erika is like NO. She organizes a group of like 50 people to say, that’s a bad idea. City council is now not digging the mayor’s plan. The mayor and Kim know their plan is dead. But during the meeting, Erika’s group also uncovered a “secret agreement” where Omni Corp was going to purchase Kim Smith’s house for an “undisclosed sum.” Did I mention Kim Smith is also on City Council? No? Well, City Councilwoman Kim Smith had this side deal with Omni Corp. The deal didn’t happen but if it did? (what’s that word again… No, not bribe. Corruption? Oh no, that’s it- “kickback”). Yes. I Know. Exactly. I’m upset too- HOW DARE THIS ERIKA DISRUPT THE WORK OF THE MAYOR AND HIS FAVORITE CITY COUNCIL MEMBER. It should NOT be citizens holding public officials accountable- that’s the job for self-interested politicians.

This guy has ruined Berea. He has done nothing but invited the hipsters and entitled from other cities. I grew up in the area, owned two houses here, and now looking to move away. Berea is changing dramatically, and not for the better!
