Submitted Candidate Introduction

Signed Good Government Pledge

I decided to run for school board because I believe it is important for younger people to get involved and run for office.  I believe that as a parent of young children in the district, a graduate of the district, and as a teacher myself, I can offer the district a perspective of someone knowledgeable about the realities of what is happening in the public school classroom as well someone who is deeply invested in the success of the Berea City School District.

I live in Brook Park with my husband and our three boys. I grew up in Middleburg Heights, and I graduated from Berea High in 2006. I have been a teacher for 13 years. I teach elementary art in a neighboring school district.  I have always been proud of the Berea City School District, and I knew I wanted to move back when my oldest son was born so that he could attend Berea Schools. My kids have loved all of their teachers so far, and we have been incredibly happy with the district.
