As a retired teacher and coach in the BCSD, as well as a long-time resident in our communities (37+ years), I have been committed to the students, families, and residents of our three communities since first being hired by the District in 1982.  Over the years I’ve had the good fortune to teach, coach, and mentor students from all three communities.  The main constants I’ve identified during this time are that our students are our greatest resource and they always rise to meet new challenges.

These last few years have been challenging for the District, with many transitions and obstacles (like the pandemic).  During this time my belief in our students and families has not wavered.  I would like to bring my experience, passion, and accessibility to the Board of Education, so I can serve our communities as I taught and coached: with integrity, insight, and understanding.
