Signed School Board Pledge
If I am blessed enough to be re-elected to the Berea School Board, I will continue to support academic excellence as the #1 measurement of our success and oppose divisive agendas that take our focus off that singular goal! I will support a fair, balanced and accurate presentation of American History (my major at B-W) and oppose teaching CRT, the 1619 Project and/or political bias in the curriculum that turns students against each other and/or America. I will support a parent’s right to know and consent to any counseling or treatment their child receives and oppose Comprehensive Sexual Education, Family Planning & Planned Parenthood materials offered to students without their consent. I will support sound fiscal stewardship of tax revenue and accurate reporting of educational performance and oppose any adoption of any state or federal programs that co-opt any of these commitments.

- Dramatically improve our district’s report card grades.
- Do NOT allow divisive political agendas to be introduced to our kids.
- Ensure that the PARENT, not the government, is in charge of their child’s education.
In the past 3.5 years on the board, I have been the LONE board member to vote against divisive racial and gender ideologies, as well as the recent changes to our busing policies. I will fight for MORE parental involvement and oppose state and federal interference in our schools.
