I am running for the school board because I am a passionate advocate for students and families.  I have lived in Berea for 16 years and I am the parent of two current students.  I am a member of the Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Task Force Steering Committee and remain fully committed to making our schools more welcoming and inclusive.  I have served as the President of Grindstone PTA and Berea-Midpark Middle School PTA and had the opportunity to develop relationships with parents and community leaders to strengthen our schools. As a school board member, I would continue to support educators and administrators in promoting high-quality teaching and learning. In addition to being a committed volunteer, I have been a lawyer for 19 years. My professional experience will help me be an effective board member and advisor to the superintendent and other district leaders.
